Simon (The Top Hog) - Simon may seem just like a big bully, but he is actually the leader of our herd and has a very important job. He keeps the hierarchy in order and makes sure everybody behaves themselves. In reality, Simon is a very sensitive soul and a total mama's boy. He takes awhile to warm up to strangers but will never say no to a snack. Simon loves sunbathing and getting his ears cleaned.
Wallace (The Chatter Box) - You'll likely hear Wallace before you see him. He has a lot to say! Wallace has never met a stranger in his life - everyone is his friend. He often invites himself into the house to eat some dog food and knock over furniture. Wallace loves rooting in the dirt and swimming in his kiddie pool.
Diesel (The Baby) - Diesel is the cuddliest pig I've ever met. He is very easy-going and fears very little. He has no problem hanging with the big boys - if he gets knocked down, he gets right back up again. Diesel was born with a condition called Cryptorchidism and will require surgery when he gets a little bigger. But he is a tough little guy and never lets life get him down. Diesel loves napping in your lap and going on car rides.
Rusty (The Gental Giant) - Rusty is the sweetest soul to ever exist. He loves getting belly rubs and is always the first to flop over for one. Rusty likes to roll in mud puddles and eat cardboard anytime he can get his hooves on some. Something special about Rusty is that he cries literal tears when he is either really sad or really happy.
Abby (The Unqualified Livestock Guardian Dog) - Abby is an older gal that likes to work - so we gave her a job. She guards the animals from predators and babysits piglets. Abby has no training or skills in this field of work, but she does it with a great spirit. You may hear her bark when you come visit the pigs - she's just letting us know that you're here.
Hunter and Coyote (The Pest Control Duo) - Hunter and Coyote are responsible for keeping rodents out of the barn. This dynamic duo works hard and plays harder. They are outgoing and friendly toward all of our visitors. However, dog owners beware - they believe they're larger than life and have been known to pick fights with dogs of all sizes.
Willie B. (The Wise Guy) - Willie B. is our most recent resident. As our oldest pig, we expected him to be a pretty low-key guy. Boy did he surprise us! Willie is incredibly smart and cheeky. At some point in his life, he was obviously an indoor pet. He has a lot of dog-like characteristics and will even "shake" your hand with his hoof on command. He insists he belongs inside the house and will knock at the door until we let him in. Willie is very accustomed to his meals being served at a certain time, and any tardiness will be met with polite squeals and leg nudges. He has never had pig siblings before and is still learning how to find his place in the herd.
